Why two models matter. A pale lip and a dark lip are completely different colour problems. You leave having solved both, supervised, rather than having practised the easy one twice.

Beginners course FAQ.
I have never touched a machine. Is that really okay?
Yes, and it is the norm. Most people who sit this course have never tattooed anything. The three days are structured for exactly that starting point, and the small group size means Stephanie can meet you where you are rather than teaching to an average.
Do I have to find my own live models?
No. Models are arranged for the training days. If you have someone in mind who would like to be a model, mention it when you enrol and Stephanie will let you know whether they are suitable for the day you are booked into.
Are the three days consecutive?
They run across the week rather than three days back to back. It gives the theory time to settle and lets you see the first stages of healing on your model before the course finishes, which is the part most training never shows you.
Is lip neutralisation included, or is it a separate course?
It is included. Neutralisation theory and a real neutralisation case are both part of the beginners course. The separate advanced workshop exists for artists who want to go deeper on the hardest cases, not because the basics were held back.
What does the $5,500 actually cover?
Three days of in-person training, live models, your full professional kit, the course manual, certification and ongoing mentoring access afterwards. It is inclusive of GST. There is no kit list emailed to you later.
Can I pay it off?
Payment plans can be arranged. Raise it on your call with Stephanie and she will walk you through the options and the deposit that secures your seat.
What is the free shadow model?
An extra session with Stephanie, at a later date, after you have taken some clients of your own. You shadow her, or she works alongside you, on whatever you have found difficult in real life. It is free for beginners graduates and it is deliberately scheduled late: the questions rarely come on the training days, they come once you are doing it alone.
Where is the training held?
In the studio in Malvern East, Melbourne. Full address and parking details are sent with your confirmation once you are enrolled.
What do I need before I can take paying clients?
Your certificate, insurance and local infection-control registration. Stephanie covers what is required in Victoria on day three, including who to go to and roughly what it costs, so you are not guessing after you leave.
